UPDATE: ALLU came thru in end and got back to me on WhatsApp. They honored the price Quoted on WhatsApp and i completed transaction. Because of this i give them 4 stars. That said; some room for improvement and professionalism overall in their customer facing chain :) - Original review to keep it real; Tried to make contact over WhatsApp and call but no answer. Went to visit shop and door was answered but was told they are fully booked and I should contact by WhatsApp. I kept trying WhatsApp but no replies. No idea if service, and or price is reasonable but does not seem interested and/or able to do business. Update; Company finally Whatsapp back with price on 20g Gold bar and I made appointment. 3hrs later, Upon visit they change price with comment that Japan office offer instead 17k HKD (Quote for 20g Gold bar was 19k HKD). No further explanation. Price of Gold had not changed in 3hrs. Bear in mind the business idea seems to be to offer a price and then lowball Upon meeting. I can understand this when jewelry but not when Gold bars, and commodity like Gold.

I originally left a five star review because my initial experience with Allu was decent. I sold a 14k gold chain here and they gave me a somewhat reasonable price. Also, they paid me HK$50 to leave a five star review, which I assume violates google’s policies (assume that most of the other five star reviews here are also bought and thus illegitimate). Now, I have adjusted my review to one star because of what transpired the second time I visited Allu. Initially they offered me a quote of HK$32,000-34,000 for a watch. Then, the following day as I was on my way to their store, they changed the quote to HK$27,000. I was already on my way and they suddenly changed the quote. To me, this is crafty and unprofessional. Also, the overall experience inside Allu is a bit strange. They describe it as “Japanese service” but I think “North Korean service” is a more accurate description. They lock you in a small room with unusually bright lights like you have been detained by police for an interrogation. During my last visit they took several pictures of my watch to show their appraiser back in Japan. I asked them if they could send me the pictures and they point blank said no. Very bizarre and

Do not recommend. Kept me waiting for almost three hours to be given a quote that was MUCH less than what was sent on WhatsApp. Literally spent 3 hours in the shop and completely wasted my time. Very disappointed.
