For listings compiled from public sources, content submitted by business owners and reviews reproduced from Google Maps, Local Hong Kong acts as an intermediary: we do not check every item in advance and do not actively look for infringements. When we learn of specific unlawful content, we remove or restrict it promptly; please use the notice and takedown process.
Liability for links
The site contains links to external websites of third parties, chiefly the websites and Google Maps entries of the businesses listed, over whose content we have no influence. We cannot accept responsibility for that third-party content; the provider or operator of the linked pages is responsible for it. Because the links are taken automatically from public business information, we cannot review every linked page; where we learn of unlawful content we remove the link promptly.

The content and works created by us on these pages (design, code, our own texts and the compilation of listings) are protected by the Copyright Ordinance (Cap. 528). Reproduction, adaptation, distribution and any other use beyond what the law permits require our written consent; linking to any page is free. Business names, logos and photos belong to their respective owners; reviews belong to their authors and are reproduced under the terms Google offers. If you become aware of a copyright infringement, please let us know and we will remove the content promptly.
Source of listing data
The business listings on Local Hong Kong are compiled from publicly available sources, chiefly Google Business Profiles, and refreshed automatically. If a listing is wrong, a business has closed or a listing should be removed, please use the notice and takedown process; owners can also claim and edit their listing themselves. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
