Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

A Lunch Set Worth Every Penny The lunch sets stand out for one simple reason: they are genuinely good value. And it is not just about the low price, but about how much food and quality you get for that price. Original Chicken Thigh Set ($78) — Generous Portions, Protein-Packed This one deserves special mention. The seven pieces of chicken thigh are seriously substantial, each one a proper chunk, not thinly sliced to make the portion look bigger. The meat stays quite tender, not dried out from grilling, and each piece feels satisfying. For someone who does not usually eat a lot of meat, this portion is already more than enough, likely leaving you around 70 percent full on its own. Add in the all-you-can-take rice, vegetables, soup, and drinks from the self-service area, and you will be full enough to skip dinner. Teriyaki Angus Beef Shoulder Blade Set ($88) The beef looks appealing right from the start. The six slices of shoulder blade are cut to a good thickness, developing a nice char on the outside while staying reasonably tender inside. The sauce is well balanced, not too sweet or salty, and mainly serves to bring out the beef flavor. While it is not melt-in-your-mouth premium w

We tried their 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝟴 𝗪𝗮𝗴𝘆𝘂 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁: $388 HKD per person for 120 minutes, with 85+ dishes including a Taiwanese sauce station, buffet bar, meat, seafood, Taiwanese snacks, desserts and more. A standout is the Signature Grilled Beef Tongue —thick, juicy, and wonderfully tender, with a bright lemon finish that balances the richness.

Had a solid dining experience at Anping Grill in Mong Kok during their World Cup promotion. The restaurant had a great, lively energy and the service was efficient. We ordered the M8 Wagyu feast, and the food variety was impressive. The new Japanese Wagyu Burger was incredibly juicy and flavorful when paired with their rice. I also highly recommend the thick-cut lemon beef tongue and the fresh seafood selection, especially the oysters and tiger prawns. Their signature Taiwanese dipping sauces allowed for some fun flavor combinations. It’s a reliable and honest spot for a casual barbecue gathering with friends.

Good food. Came with friends. We enjoyed the food and good conversation. We are in a partition room so the noise isnt that much loud on the other side.
