Apple授權維修中心 - TSO, a repair shop in Kwun Tong, is at Unit 01, 8/F, 電訊數碼大樓58 Tsun Yip St, Kwun Tong, Kowloon. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted. The address puts it on an upper floor, so note the floor and unit number; some buildings ask visitors to register at the lobby, and lifts can be slow at busy times.

Before hiring a contractor, describe the job clearly and ask for a written quotation listing the items, materials, timetable and payment stages; comparing two or three quotes is normal. For work in a flat, the building management office usually needs to be told and sets its own working hours, and the law restricts the use of powered equipment between 19:00 and 07:00 and on Sundays and public holidays. Ask about inspection fees and a quote first; some shops still charge for the inspection if you decide not to go ahead.

Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Sat 11:00–20:00, Sun closed. That makes 6 working days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2332 3020. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, tso.cc.

It has a Google rating of 2.9 out of 5 from 56 reviews, which is on the low side, so read the most recent reviews before you go.

Kwun Tong is part of the Kwun Tong District in Kowloon. Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating. Many Kwun Tong industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios; note the building name and floor, as access can differ in the evening and at weekends.
