AUTO MINI MATE (Car Accessories)

AUTO MINI MATE (Car Accessories) is a tyre and auto parts shop in Kwun Tong, at 九龍觀塘偉業街203號6樓F室. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it. The address puts it on an upper floor of a building (an "upstairs shop", very common in Hong Kong), so note the floor and unit number; lifts can be slow at busy times, and some older buildings only have stairs.

Parking is scarce, meters and car parks in the urban areas are expensive, and most accept Octopus or e-payment; most toll tunnels now use the HKeToll system. Many repair and detailing shops are inside industrial buildings or car parks, so book ahead and ask where to leave the car. When changing tyres, check the manufacture date and size, and have the alignment and pressure checked too.

Opening hours: Mon 14:00–20:00, Tue 00:00–20:00, Wed 12:00–20:00, Thu 14:00–20:00, Fri 12:00–20:00, Sat 14:00–20:00, Sun open 24 hours. It opens every day of the week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. Phone: 6190 9686. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. As this is a mobile number, a WhatsApp message may also work. More information is on its website, ammhk.com.

Google shows 5.0 out of 5 based on 2 reviews; with so few opinions the score can move quickly as more customers weigh in.

Kwun Tong is part of the Kwun Tong District in Kowloon. Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating. Many Kwun Tong industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios; note the building name and floor, as access can differ in the evening and at weekends.
