About 巴域街佛廟
巴域街佛廟 is a place of worship in Shek Kip Mei, Sham Shui Po, at 九龍塘尾巴域街2號. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.
When visiting a temple, church or other place of worship, dress respectfully, keep your voice down and follow any rules on photography. Lunar New Year, major religious festivals and weekends draw the biggest crowds, and some places only open at set times; if you want to join a service or ceremony, check the timetable first. Some temples are especially crowded at Lunar New Year and on deity birthdays, so avoid peak times.
No opening hours have been published here yet; the Google Maps link on this page shows the latest details. Bear in mind that many small shops close over Lunar New Year and may not open while a typhoon or black rainstorm warning is in force. There is no phone number yet; if the business has a website or social media page, try there, or use the Google Maps link on this page for the latest details.
It has a Google rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 18 reviews, a strong score that points to consistently positive experiences.
Shek Kip Mei is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating. Hong Kong addresses give the street and number, the building name, then the floor and unit; "G/F" means the ground floor, and as big buildings can have several entrances, look for the directory board in the lobby.

The "Buddha shrine" on Mission Hill 巴域街佛廟(also known as Bishop Hill or Woh Chai Shan) is located in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong. The general access point is near Berwick Street in Shek Kip Mei, Hong Kong. The shrine itself is on top of the hill, near the historic Ex-Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir. The site is accessible via a walk involving a steep climb of several hundred steps (around 430 steps to the general area). There is no wheelchair accessible entrance or parking lot. Along the path up to the top of the hill, visitors pass by various Buddha statues and exercise trails. The actual "shrine" is a place of worship, which some local residents visit regularly. The nearby historical reservoir, known for its Roman-style architecture (granite piers and red brick arches), is a Grade 1 historic building.

I don't understand why just now, the government is asking to remove this place? Who that bothers today? This place is nowhere, they can't build a building here anymore as Ex-Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir (on the Top of the Hill) is classed Grade 1 historic building in June 2021.
