Tsim Sha Tsui is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. The Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront has the Avenue of Stars and the Cultural Centre, Star Ferries cross to Central and Wan Chai, and the area is full of hotels, malls and restaurants.

I recently visited Bacha Coffee's new Harbour City location, and it's a sensory treat from the moment you step in. The space is beautifully designed with a warm Moroccan aesthetic – think intricate tiles, brass accents, and that unmistakable amber glow. It's a proper sit-down café with a full all-day menu, not just a grab-and-go spot. The ceilings are on the lower side, so when the café fills up, it can get quite lively – almost buzzy – which is great for energy but worth noting if you're after a quiet corner. The food (surprisingly good) 🌟 Scrambled eggs with fresh black truffle (HK$198) – Silky and creamy. Simple, but executed beautifully. A must-order. Wagyu striploin French toast sandwich (HK$204) – Caramelised onion, sweet gherkins, cream cheese. A decadent take on a classic. The beef was a bit chewy though. 🌟 Bread & butter pudding with Madagascar vanilla crème anglaise (HK$72) – Comfort in a bowl. Rich, custardy, and perfectly balanced. 🌟 Dubai Chocolate Pain Suisse & Tiramisu Croissant – Both flaky, buttery, and generously filled. The Dubai chocolate version had a nice nutty depth, while the tiramisu one was a fun coffee-kissed treat. The plain butter croissant (HK$58

Late June 2026 Opulent and lavish setting with a wide array of coffee blends and origins. At a scale that is indicative of a Moroccan marketplace store that transports you to another place. Nothing much can changed for such a unique experience. Their coffee philosophy isn't exactly single origin or theur roasting style matching more craft style coffees but unique to their region which compliment the use of cream and sugar. The diverse service crew is very much trained on their style of servicing and specialty menu. As mentioned the place apart from the customers and service staff is a step into a Moroccan set with only the marginal view of Kowloon that reminds you that you are still in Asia. Ideal for very small groups or solo dining 🍽 particularly dates.

Bacha is an excellent place to enjoy great food and some “me time.” The food is outstanding, with a wide variety of excellent coffee from around the world, as well as delicious pastries and cake. My favorite is the French toast sandwich. Bacha is a great place to recharge yourself. All the servers provide excellent, bespoke service. Today, I was served by Ju Ju, who is kind, generous, polite, and attentive to details. She has excellent knowledge of coffee. When you see her smile, your daily troubles just disappear. I really enjoy the atmosphere in Bacha. This is my fifth time here, and I’ll happily recommend it to everyone—whether you’re looking for great coffee or food or a place to enjoy some time with friends or for yourself. Have fun and enjoy!

They open very early, thankfully, since I had some time to kill while waiting for someone, I walked in around 8am. From the moment I entered and got seated, the service was excellent. The space itself is beautiful as well—moving from the entrance into the seating area, everything looked spotless and well maintained. I ordered a set that came with juice, coffee, 2 mini croissant, and a mini baguette. There was a wide selection of coffee options, which was great. The croissant was delicious flaky and fresh. The Chantilly cream served with the coffee was also really good. I didn’t mix it into my coffee, but enjoyed it on its own. The location is lovely, right by the harbour. Definitely worth a visit great service, great coffee, and great food.
