Prudential Insurance customer office is too small, Insurance business is big but small office to due with customers, I need to spend over one hours to ask questions, I need to spend over 15 min to pay the fee.

Terrible service overall, long waiting time, inadequate facilities and staff. Customers are to made stand in line just to get a ticket to be served.

Prudential is deceitful to customers who are claiming benefits. They give them overwhelming difficulty to the point of being illogical. Delays after delays and lies after lies. No heart. No compassion.

PART II Our bank doesn’t even know what a cheque is anymore, so we have to make a “special request”, that obviously required more documents, which we have sent right away via UPS (at our expense again)…. Just yesterday Amanda called us for the daily update and guess what? No updates!!! But at least no more docs needed, i said that they still have one more day for showing us a screenshot of the payment before we start sharing this disgrace online. They didn’t so here goes this post plus we are amplifying it. We called again the next day, 45 minutes on hold, then another colleague picks up the phone, his name is Ben. Now with considerable stress i extracted the following info from Ben after he checked with the mighty and powerful and secret claims department: It will take another 1 month for the payment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Apparently (my speculation) they keep all the funds on their corporate account which yields them higher interest and delay payments as much as possible, although ben never confirmed this You cannot speak with the branch manager or branch director, someone with power You cannot speak with the claims department which are the minions doing the paperwork Apparent

Can i give 0 stars? At the beginning of April 2022, my mom in law who had a life assurance with Prudential Hong Kong bought 20 years ago, passed due to a side effect of the JJ vaccine with acute myocardial infarction (well documented side effect) and while this situation has been very sad, we had to move on. There are 3 beneficiaries and we want to get the money which prudential has to pay, after premiums were paid for circa 20 years. When you call prudential in HK it will take you on average 30-90 minutes on a paid international customer service helpline. The claims were always posted to them via fast UPS courier at our costs. First we were told that the claim would get paid within 2-3 weeks after receiving the docs (provided that everything was in order – pay special attention to that). Recently we found out that there were more requirements needed bla bla bla... This is a delay tactic! Update: They paid half of the amount and avoiding to show proof of withdrawals to justify amounts!!!!!! Avoid!
