About Barista Caffe by Ideaology
Barista Caffe by Ideaology is a café in Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Tsim Mong, at 3/F, 18號 Ashley Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it. The address puts it on an upper floor of a building (an "upstairs shop", very common in Hong Kong), so note the floor and unit number; lifts can be slow at busy times, and some older buildings only have stairs.
Cafés, bakeries, dessert and drinks shops are often mainly takeaway with a few seats, and weekend afternoons are the busiest. Many accept Octopus, credit cards and e-wallets, and some run loyalty schemes or pre-orders; birthday cakes and festive boxes (mooncakes at Mid-Autumn, for example) usually need ordering in advance, a few days ahead on popular dates. If you plan to work or study in a café, check for power sockets and any seating time limit.
Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00, Sat 11:00–17:00, Sun closed. It is open 6 days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. You can call 2511 0998; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. More information is on its website, facebook.com.
At 4.2 out of 5 on Google (432 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Tsim Sha Tsui is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere.

It’s a bit hard to find but eventually I called them up and they said they are at 3/F of the service apartment. I can finally get a soy milk option of flat white which tastes really good. (I don’t know why there are so few cafes nearby that offer alternative milk options especially soy milk , I mean they do have oat milk but not soy?) I also see that they do lunch and other desserts. A little gem in the busy city. 💎 Oh yes and they offer 10% for takeaway coffee!!☕️

Small coffee shop on third floor, possible to have breakfast set. We ordered just coffee after breakfast outside, each person needs to order something. Place is smaller but authentic. Coffee was tasty same as price

Was here for breakfast on a weekday. Very quiet and there were only two tables of customers. I’ve ordered a ham and cheese omelette but it was served with white bread. Latte was average. They serve soy milk. Waiters were not quite friendly.

Not that easy to find Barista Cafe as it is on the 3rd floor and no signs on the street or anything to suggest where it is. Once instead it's quite a relaxing place to be, modern and relatively cosy with nice furnishings. Staff were ok as well with service provided. Ordered waffles with cream and berries. The waffles were not as hot as I prefer but otherwise tasty. The banana coffee however, was disgusting. The cocoa topper was rank and the the rest of the drink didn't really taste like anything, coffee or banana. Would not recommend that drink at all which is disappointing considering it's a signature drink from them. Their prices are also quite high so potentially not worth the money.
