本源中醫診所, a Chinese medicine clinic in Kwun Tong, is at 九龍觀塘鴻圖道63-65號8樓8C03室. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted. It is upstairs in a building, entered through the lobby rather than from the street, so check the building name, floor and unit before you go and allow a few minutes for the lift.

Chinese medicine practitioners in Hong Kong are either registered or listed, and both can be checked with the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong; registered practitioners may practise general Chinese medicine, acupuncture or bone-setting. Book ahead where possible and tell the practitioner about any Western medicines you take. People aged 65 or over can use Elderly Health Care Vouchers towards Chinese medicine services.

Google lists the opening hours as Mon closed, Tue–Sat 11:00–19:00, Sun closed. It is open 5 days a week. Many clinics and health services in Hong Kong close or shorten their hours on Sundays and public holidays. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. You can call 6465 0867; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. It is a mobile number, and many local businesses also answer enquiries on WhatsApp. Its website is facebook.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

It shows 5.0 out of 5 on Google, but from only 1 review, so treat it as a first impression rather than a verdict.
