Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

My elderly father is treated by Dr Chan here, and after just two months of weekly visits, he is doing so much better, he is eating more, sleeps better and most importantly, walks by himself, and have not fell again. The treatment has been incredibly effective, and the care provided to my father has been amazing. Highly professional, deeply skilled, and thoroughly recommended!!

I came across Dr. James Chan online while searching for a good TCM doctor to heal my chronic cough. I decided on him to heal me due to the wonderful reviews online. True enough, he managed to heal my chronic cough in 2 weeks time. My phlegm had lots of blood at first and i was coughing so badly that my ribs hurt so much and that is why i was so concerned. Dr. James prescribed me the herbal medicines and also acupuncture. He is kind and caring to his patients and i highly recommend him to anyone seeking to heal their ailments. I will continue to see Dr. James for my other health issues. I believe i would be healed under his expert guidance. Thanks so much Dr. James…glad that i found you…!!! ✨🙏🏼✨

Dr. Chan is gentle, gifted, and highly skilled in the art of acupuncture. He treats the whole person, not just the symptoms, blending expertise with genuine care that instills hope. I initially visited for jaw treatment but was pleasantly surprised to discover the emotional benefits of acupuncture. Many times, I left feeling relaxed, calm, and grounded—comparable to the effects of a yoga session or deep meditation. This experience sparked my curiosity about meridians and how smooth energy flow can bring balance to the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of the body. On one occasion, I arrived with a runny nose, sneezing, and a racing heart; within minutes of the needles being placed, all symptoms subsided. I was amazed by the wisdom of acupuncture and Dr. Chan’s knowledge and skill. I highly recommend acupuncture at Dr. Chan’s clinic. It feels homey, and his herbal medicines are effective and pleasant-tasting.

So lucky to meet James in my desperate time. I‘ve suffered from serious depression for about 5 years, taking pills, tolerating the terrible side effects, thinking about suicide many times. It takes only 1 month for him to help me throw away my pills. Now I’m happy with my life and the future. I start to exercise more and perform well in my master’s study. Thank you so much, Dr. Chan! And I truly hope depressive patients could try traditional Chinese medicine. It’s our saviour. You shouldn’t take pills forever, right?
