Very poor customer service. Staff were rude and unprofessional. Huge downgrade from harbour plaza store. Shame.

Comparing to the other chains I’ve seen in HK, this eslite has the most similar vibes to the ones in Taipei, and is comfy! I read mostly English books and I’d say there is a pretty good selection, including English manga (which is definitely a little pricey, but all English manga is in HK), though by I think that it was a little hard for me to find books and took me about an hour (might be a personal issue though because I’m very picky when it comes to books) to look through everything. Still, because of how much I enjoyed the atmosphere, I didn’t really mind and still had fun by taking my time looking around. I felt like a kid in a candy store there. There’s also a coffee shop there, but since it was already nighttime when I was there, I didn’t get to try it out, unfortunately. Another thing is that I’d focus mostly on the books. The lifestyle products are priced higher than my budget, but they’re still worth looking at.

Late June 2026 Taiwan 🇹🇼 brand lifestyle and mega bookstore that used to be located at the Star Building near the waterfront. The lifestyle mall has several key sections apart from the bookstore area. The layout allows for perusal and also for some other shopping opportunities. Definitely a good place to find gifts 🎁
