得興五金裝飾材料 is a hardware shop in Kwun Tong, at 九龍觀塘19Hang On Street17號. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.

It pays to compare prices before you buy and to check that the price shown includes everything. Octopus, credit cards, FPS and e-wallets work in most shops, though small ones may be cash only or set a minimum for cards; weekend and public-holiday afternoons are busiest, so weekday daytime is better for a relaxed browse. Hardware shops cluster in older street-level shops; bring measurements or a photo so staff can match the part.

Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Fri 08:30–18:30, Sat 08:30–18:00, Sun closed. That makes 6 working days a week. It is closed on Sundays, which is not unusual for a small shop, although malls and chain stores open all week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2337 5157. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is hkdecoman.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

It has a Google rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 22 reviews, a strong score that points to consistently positive experiences.

Kwun Tong is part of the Kwun Tong District in Kowloon. Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating. Many Kwun Tong industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios; note the building name and floor, as access can differ in the evening and at weekends.
