About 多彩皇宫
多彩皇宫 is a Cantonese and dim sum restaurant in Shek Kip Mei, Sham Shui Po, at 九龍石硤尾南昌街213號. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.
When choosing a restaurant, check whether the menu shows prices and the service charge, whether you need to book, and whether there are vegetarian or children's options. Restaurants must hold a licence from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, usually displayed inside. Lunar New Year, Mother's Day, Christmas and New Year's Eve are peak booking times, and some restaurants offer set menus or add a surcharge on festive days, so ask ahead. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 06:00–23:30. It is open seven days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2778 0278. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first.
It has a Google rating of 3.3 out of 5 from 1,293 reviews, which is on the low side, so read the most recent reviews before you go.
Shek Kip Mei is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating. Hong Kong has more than a dozen public holidays a year; around Lunar New Year, Easter, Mid-Autumn and Christmas many businesses change their hours, and some small shops close for three to seven days over Lunar New Year.

One of the best places for shrimp dumpling, this Chinese “yum cha” restaurant is located in one of the oldest public housing estates in Hong Kong. While it has renovated, the traditional Chinese restaurant deco remains, including the classic Dragon and Phoenix decoration that was a must-have at banquet halls. As time passed, handcrafted decorations are gradually disappearing.

I've tried my share of dim sum places, their har gow is stunning. So big and juicy, stuffed with loads of prawns but still held together by thin bouncy rice dough wrapping. The prawn toast is out of this world too!

Terrible service, staff did not verify the amount of food we have ordered in details. Therefore we have 3 times of food we need. I tried to stop them when I saw excessive food initially. They refused to stop steaming the dim sum. I am very disappointed. They are scammers.

Old school government estate restaurant in shek keep mei. Went around 10am, order few dim sum and all above 6/10. Quail egg sui Mei definitely a highlight and rare items can be found nowadays. Thousand layer cake is the old taste , the service time could be slightly slow and might have to share table in peak hour
