I passed my road test today at the So Kon Po route on my first-attempt! I attended several lessons with Fai Sir’s teachers after being with HKSM — the instructors at Fai Sir were extremely professional, friendly and empathetic! Not to mention that the prices are a lot more reasonable and inviting. For an example of Fai Sir’s warmth, I was originally supposed to do my road test a few weeks ago. But before the road test began however, the examiner told me my fingers had an issue and I needed to do a disability assessment first. This was a stressful time, especially since I had spent much time and money learning motorbike since passing my Part B 6 months ago. But the instructors at Fai Sir were very polite and supportive, they tried to find solutions for me and also allowed me to rent the motorbike for the next road test for free. They were generous in doing this; I really didn’t expect them to do that for me but they still did. Luckily I got cleared with the disability assessment and could come back to do the road test today. Fai Sir and his team are super knowledgable, friendly and professional with lots of patience, encouragement and positive attitude. Studied mostly with teacher Robin, who has been absolutely amazing with lots of sharing in person and online, detailed explanations and feedback for improvement. Teachers Marco and Tony have also been very supportive and an absolute pleasure to learn from. With all the skills taught examination felt just like another day of practice. Highly recommend for learning to drive scooter or motorcycle. English, Mandarin and Cantonese all ok. Thank you team Fai Sir for a great experience!

Fai Sir’s package included a lot of valuable online information one can access at their own time to mentally prepare for the road and test experience. For the actual motorcycle learning experience at the road course, the instructors first help discuss the basic guidelines and theory for the student to focus on in a lecture and question / answer discussion with student before actual riding begins. Each class with the instructor is followed by a grading system which allows them to monitor the student’s progress and then if it passes a certain minimum it allows the student to rent the motorcycle to practice on their own time. Some of the teacher to student time is rather limited in my opinion with the package. There was only two instructional classes included in the package. (Need to pay extra for additional instructor time usually in a 1 instructor to 2-3 students scenario). Overall the instructional experience was good as they highlight every little detail to bring to the student’s attention post riding the actual test routes and performing figure 8s. The clerical staff was also responsive with bookings and other information.
