About 楓子珈琲

楓子珈琲 is a café in Kowloon Tong, Kowloon City, at 九龍塘尾楓樹街5號. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.

When choosing a café or dessert shop, look at whether prices are shown, whether plant milks or less-sweet options are available, and whether there is a time limit on seats. Many open seven days a week, but some small shops take a weekly day off; for cakes or large orders of pastries, calling ahead is the safest bet. If you plan to work or study in a café, check for power sockets and any seating time limit.

Opening hours: Mon closed, Tue–Sun 12:00–19:00. That makes 6 working days a week. It opens on Sunday too, like most places to eat in Hong Kong. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. No phone number is listed, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best starting point for directions and any contact details Google has. More information is on its website, instagram.com.

It has a Google rating of 4.1 out of 5 from 179 reviews. Opinions are mixed but broadly steady, and the latest reviews are the best guide to what to expect.

Kowloon Tong is part of the Kowloon City District in Kowloon. Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating. Hong Kong has more than a dozen public holidays a year; around Lunar New Year, Easter, Mid-Autumn and Christmas many businesses change their hours, and some small shops close for three to seven days over Lunar New Year.

Super cute cafe😍 I tried their grapefruit drink and cake. The drink was good but nothing spectacular. A bit on the pricy side for uni student like me, however, I WILL come back for the cake🥹. It was very moist, soft, and not too sweet. For reference, I ordered the pistachio cake 🍰

The best Basque cheesecake I’ve tried in the area! It’s an ideal spot for tea time and a wonderful place to enjoy quality moments with friends. Every detail from the cup and spoon to the chairs and decor, elevates the entire experience and takes the enjoyment to another level. This place truly made my day, and there’s nowhere quite like it. Note: There is a minimum charge of $100 per person.

I was wandering around Prince Edward district and I suddenly remembered I bookmarked a cafe nearby few weeks ago - Fonji Cafe. I saw many good reviews online and I'm glad that I finally had the time to give it a try! I was surprised when I walked in the cafe, it was giving me this japanese-western aesthetic feeling: you can tell the shop owner and the team gave a lot of effort in presenting the art details through the cups, cutlery, hanging decorations, furniture etc. For the food, I ordered a pasta, a latte and a cake. The tiger prawn was fresh and springy and with the Laksa pasta was a cute combination to me, however, the Laksa sause was little too much this time. For the Genmaicha latte, I liked it very much (Look at that latte art💚🥰) as it was not too sweet and the taste balanced well. AND... What I liked the most was the Strawberry Cream Chiffon Cake!!! I thought it would be so sweet with the condensed milk on top, at first. But I was wrong🥹🫶🏻... This was one of the best cake I have ever tasted in Hong Kong! (You know what, the best compliment for a sweet dessert you get from a HKer is - "It isn't too sweet!"🤭🫡) The sweetness level felt just right and very balanced, more on

#toast 581 — picturesque, trendy and retro cafe located in the area. although people usually come here for pretty cakes and to take pictures with them, their chicken toast was a very filling meal. thick cut bread, thick cut of chicken and packed with textures.. little bit spiced to give another layer of flavor. the store is very cozy and packed when it’s filled but I imagine it being very lovely even when it’s emptier later in the day. Follow @nomkakaii on Instagram for more toast travels!
