When choosing a café or dessert shop, look at whether prices are shown, whether plant milks or less-sweet options are available, and whether there is a time limit on seats. Many open seven days a week, but some small shops take a weekly day off; for cakes or large orders of pastries, calling ahead is the safest bet. If you plan to work or study in a café, check for power sockets and any seating time limit.

Opening hours: daily, 06:00–18:00. It is open seven days a week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. You can call 5503 6880; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. As this is a mobile number, a WhatsApp message may also work. More information is on its website, fineprint.hk.

Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

Great to see they have reopened. Pleasantly surprised to learn that its free coffee today (June 20) to celebrate! Come check it out if you're in the area. Friendly staff and reliable. Cant comment on the food as I only order takeaway coffee.

MUST COME!! great find on the IG for best brunch/cafe in central HK! Interestingly is the same lane with All the nice pubs/ bars at night! The tuna melt IS SO GOOD! So is the avo. Do add the eggs! Coffee is aromatic. Latte is a good balance between the caffine and milk!

We were looking for some brunch place, and we're happy to find this one. Avo tost, combo plate, veggie toasts were very tasty. And the drinks too were good quality, especially orange fresh juice and filter coffee. Staff are nice, friendly and serve the food very quickly. Unfortunately this place is not big, it has one big table which you share with other people, but for us it was not a problem 👌 😊 extra one thing which took my attention was that this place doesn't charge you extra 10%service.

I read the fineprint at Fineprint and have no regrets of trying this place. One of the few places that open early in SoHo and offer great coffee , love their flat white, pastries and toastsies. It's tucked away, and on a weekend morning you can still smell the partying that took place on the night before on the streets. It gives you this place of calmness while surrounded by Hong Kong busyness. Great place to hangout, watch people and slurp a cup of coffee.

We stopped by Fineprint for breakfast before a day of exploring Central and Sheung Wan, and it was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering helpful recommendations and making us feel right at home. I ordered a coconut cold foam coffee, and I can honestly say it was one of the best coffees I have ever had in my life (I'm not kidding). We also tried several of their toasts, including avocado toast, banana toast, and another with their housemade jams (apricot and raspberry at the time of this review), all of which were fresh and flavorful. The vibe of the coffee shop is calm and inviting, with plenty of people quietly working on laptops, giving it a relaxed, cozy vibe that makes it ideal for either a casual breakfast or a productive morning. If I were a local, I would absolutely come here daily, just to enjoy the coffee, the toast, and the welcoming atmosphere. Fine Print is a hidden gem in Central and a must-visit for anyone who loves great coffee, tasty breakfast options, and a peaceful spot to start the day.
