Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

Cheap and cheerful. Located in a super convenient location in the basement, which is good coz you can't hear the traffic outside. Masseuses are ok, they do expect u to tip a little bit at the end, but not overly forceful about it.

Tip culture is not normal in Hong Kong. I felt pushed to give a tip because the masseur followed me to the counter and kept waiting till I paid. The lady at the counter has a rude tone. When I asked her, is it compulsory to pay a tip, she mumbled nastily, judging me for getting clarification. The foot massage itself was good but the bad behavior of the counter lady and the forced tip made it a bad experience. They advertise outside HK $210 for foot massage for 50 min, but when you go inside they tell you that is membership price and you need to deposit HK$1000. My feet very swollen and painful, hence I did get the massage but I have never been forced to pay a tip anywhere in Hong Kong, except here.

My hotel recommended this place as we get 10% off but it was not worth it. Although they were nice but 15 minutes late, I came out with my lower back hurting even more. I don’t know if I can call the worker a masseur because all she did was push with her palms and thumbs. There was no technique and when she used her elbows, she pushed down directly on my spine which was not good. I was close to just ending it early but I was too hopeful. I gave 2 stars only because when I went on my back, she did massage my shoulders and neck okay even though there was a point where she pressed on my throat. EDIT: I’m changing my review to 1 star because I went to see my physical therapist a few days anfter and she noticed something new on my lower spine. She described it as a rock in between my lower back spine and I told her how I got a massage from this place bc the worker used her elbows and pushed directly down on my spine and not muscles. I wouldn’t suggest coming here. It caused me pain even days after.

A really pleasant experience from foot massage, Shanghai pedicure and body massage! Highly recommended 💯 Very clean, professional and they don’t pressure you for a package. Although getting the package gets you 10% and 25%! Do not be deceived by the small entrance at the front. Once you head down, wow many chairs and rooms and one thing I really appreciate, how clean everything is! From a warm towel on your lap once you’re seated to disposable pants (if you are wearing long pants), they really make sure you are comfortable!

220 for foot massage with "hotel discount" whereas other places are at around 170~200. But it was really good, especially the person who did it. However don't be panicked by the pushiness of front desk who will try to urge you to do it quickly. You can do it whenever because it won't be fully booked because there are so many seats plus so many other options all over HK.
