MTR transit is world class. That said as a new parent, good luck getting in and out of an MTR. Often you will have attendants asking you to take the lift when you are using a stroller but if you do, there may be 1 cramped elevator full of people too lazy to walk out on their own. It’s never enough to actually service the less mobile of the population. And best of luck if you take your stroller into a station that doesn’t have a wider turn style suitable for strollers and people in wheel chairs. It would take very little to plan their stations to be more accessible and in some cases an upgrade wouldn’t be that difficult either. Would love to see a concerted effort for them to make some long overdue upgrades.
