GAVI is a spacious and stylish restaurant bar near the harbour, with a warm wooden indoor area and a relaxing outdoor garden that’s also dog‑friendly. The interior feels open and comfortable, very different from typical industrial-area restaurants. At night, the lighting is cozy and romantic, sometimes with live music, making it great for dates, gatherings, or private events. The updated menu shows real improvement — highlights include the crispy drunken chicken, authentic carbonara, and flavorful truffle mushroom soup. Drinks are refreshing and well-presented. A solid choice for quality food, drinks, and atmosphere in Kwun Tong.

Had an amazing dinner at GAVI in Kwun Tong today! Stunning vibe, delicious food, perfect spot for celebrations or catch-ups! 🌟🍴 Drinks: 1️⃣Ice Matcha Caramel Coffee $48 ☕️: Light coffee flavor with super sweet matcha at the bottom — the latte art was gorgeous! 2️⃣Lychee Soda $48 🥤🍈: Not too sweet, super fresh and refreshing, easy to drink. Starters: 3️⃣French Vanilla Butter Mashed Potato Baked Escargots $138 🐌🧀: Ultra-creamy mash that melts in your mouth, loaded with cheese, spinach, mushrooms, onions — so aromatic! The escargots were fresh and beautifully chewy. Highly recommend! 🔥 4️⃣Chicken Cartilage Skewers & Zucchini Skewers $18 each 🍢🥒: Amazing aroma when served! Zucchini had a nice surprise char, super fresh and perfectly grilled. Chicken cartilage was small, not greasy, and so easy to eat. Mains: 5️⃣Thai Tom Yum Tiger Prawn Pasta $158 🍤🍝: Rich creamy tom yum with a good kick of spice — surprisingly addictive and appetizing! Pasta had great al dente texture, prawns were huge and fresh. 🌶️😋 6️⃣Honey-Glazed & Salted Pork Knuckle with Gravy $258 🐷🍯: Skin so crispy it’s like eating chips! Calm room with warm lights and plenty of greens. Staff were swift and polite. Best bite to open was the foie gras on toast with fresh fig. The toast held a good crunch, foie gras lightly seared and rich, the fig cutting through with gentle acidity. Crab linguine came with a tight, savory crab reduction. The honey-roasted spring chicken was the star: lacquered skin, juicy meat, a small pot of jus to tie in roasted potatoes and vegetables. Solid cooking, relaxed vibe—easy choice for a slow evening in Kwun Tong.
