Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

Amazing concept of working towards sustainability using second hand clothing, shoes and bags ♥️

I went for consignment ( this is my 5 or 6th consignment) and surprised by the unbelievalbe attitude of the staff. First, the consignment staff asked me how many clothes I brought. I knew that it has to be less than 30 but couldn't answer precisely. She was unhappy with my asnwer and tole me to separate kids clothes and adult clothes first. While I was sorting out the clothes I put my cellphone on the counter. Then she told me not to put the cellphone on the counter as it is occupying the counter space. While she checks my clothes she criticised them and gave a mean look to me when she found a small stain on the clothes. I am sorry I did not notice the stain but she can simply return it. no need to be mean. Besides, some of the clothes I brought was the one I bought at green ladies but she said " we do not sell such clothes".... There are more but let's just stop here.. I donate clothes to support the mission of green ladies such as hiring middle aged woman, sustainable world and better environment but I felt like what I do is wrong. I also noticed that there are many similar comments left before. Green ladies wanchai should take it seriously and act for better customer service

Do they know what politeness meant? I donated a few times but I never expected this extremely weird experience in my whole life. As a donator, I was challenged by one of the ladies for I came that early. Though I said I didn't mind to wait, she responded unfriendly and questioned why I didn't call the hotline myself and kept waiting there?!. She could just reject me or explained what the rules were instead of mocking/picky me this way/being so mean. I told the other staff what time I booked but they gave me a blur answer. If the store wasn't so stubborn about collecting items, I will just leave my stuff there. I wondered why the staff weren't trained properly over so many complaints !!!At last, I returned all my items home. I couldn't bare another day off for this charity. What a shame! Who knows where the money goes within this charity??

The consignment instruction is extremely unclear, it says max 20 pieces/ consignment but the staff only choose a few pieces even all of the clothes are new and in great condition. The staff are unprofessional and unfriendly. 'They spoke to us in an almost mocking and condescending tone - I guess is trying to be charitable is a crime? They refused multiple items, even though they were new. We planned on donating the money to them, and they were still rude and condescending. Never coming back again. They are a shame to the excellent world of charities.' -quote from another review Oh not to mentioned the only pay you 30% of the sales , it's totally not worth the time and effort. what kind of organisation is this? stop abusing the industry in the name of charity, disgusting.

Promoting reuse of fashion items which is a really good idea. Only accept items in good conditions so quality is guaranteed, not bad. Staff are middle age ladies as the organisation also promotes helping women. Some of them are polite and helpful, but some you just could not expect much.
