Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

Great local dessert place for simple kind of desserts like sesame paste ball in ginger soup. They also have a wide variety of other selections however, sticking to the classics and basics is best. Warm and polite service, always a big plus and bonus in HK 👍 they also open quite late, which makes it a nice go-to place for people living in the neighbourhood. Worth to try and visit!

Amazing all across the board. Excellent desserts with a wide selection, nice service and a good atmosphere. Prices are ok. ~45-60hkd. Would recommend. FYI: The Caramel Custard is basically a big egg tart, I recommend sticking w their more traditional desserts instead

I noticed this Chinese-style desserts shop opened a few months ago in my district and had to try it. The shop is more geared towards kids but that shouldn’t stop a grown person from enjoying a sweet purple rice soup or taro sago pudding. What stops it in this shop is the actual dessert isn’t that good. There was a weird aftertaste in the sweet purple rice soup and the taro sago pudding was foamy. The atmosphere is nice and bright, so perhaps a good place for a kid’s birthday party.
