About 好彩海鮮酒家

好彩海鮮酒家, a Cantonese and dim sum restaurant in Kwu Tung, North District, is at 新界Kwu Tung觀塘道388號5/F1 Millennium CityPhase 1. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted.

Many Hong Kong restaurants add a 10% service charge to the bill, and tipping beyond that is optional. Popular places fill up at lunchtime and on weekend evenings, so book by phone, WhatsApp or a platform such as OpenRice; some set a time limit or a minimum spend. Most offer both dine-in and takeaway, and Octopus, credit cards, FPS and PayMe are widely accepted, though smaller places may take cash only. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.

Google lists the opening hours as daily, 08:00–23:30. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. You can call 2267 1000; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there.

At 3.6 out of 5 on Google (1,004 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.

Kwu Tung is part of the North District in the New Territories. Some rural spots in the New Territories have infrequent buses and minibuses and earlier last services, so check timetables for buses, minibuses, the MTR or the Light Rail first; village addresses sometimes give only the village name and house number, so map navigation helps. Sai Kung's seafood and piers, Yuen Long's traditional pastries and street snacks and the border towns near Shenzhen each have their own character. Hong Kong summers are hot and humid, and typhoons and rainstorms come mostly in summer and autumn; when the Observatory issues signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning, many businesses close until it is lifted.

Wonderful restaurant to host office party, food taste was not bad, they can also arrange private room to host party within the restaurant and serve food for your team only so that you will feel better and can spend time with your team, service was good.

This longstanding restaurant in Kwun Tong is considered mid-to-high price range for the area, but it offers comfortable seating and good service. It's not too crowded on weekends. The dim sum quality is decent, though the variety isn't extensive. It’s a nice place to visit occasionally.

A hidden restaurant in Millennium Tower, which is very convenient. There is no time when I came in at 1220pm. The food was fantastic given that the price tags were very reasonable.

While most of the "HoChoi" restaurants are located in residential areas, this one is found on the 5th floor of a commercial building. It's size is big, and you can find a table without reservation on a Friday lunch hour. We ordered typical dinsum and most of them are fine in quality. The appearance of the shrimp rice rolls were not quite appealing though as they were not translucent enough. Steamed eye white with coconut was nice. It smelled wonderful and not too sweet. The size of the coconut was surprisingly small, but for $28 each, I think it is acceptable. Oh, almost forgot, the congee with dried stockfish and pork bone was good, it was filled with aroma and tasty.
