The worst room I have ever seen. Should give 5 stars if it's a haunted house. Rooms are very mouldy, wallpaper is peeling. One word to describe, horrible.

The room is full of molds and spider web, the worst I have come across among many hotels I stayed in HK so far. P/s: I visit HK several times a year. When asked to change room the worker informed we are an "Inn", it's normal for an Inn to be like this, pls do not expect anything.... speechless right? No wonder HK economy not doing well with such service attitude still around... Take your own risk if you date to stay here in Homy Inn North Point

Absolutely terrible, yes it’s lower end on the price but this place literally kills you. There’s extremely dangerous amounts of black mold on all walls and ceilings, not just the bathrooms. You have to pay to use the washer and dryer, pay to use the fridge, pay to use the pots. All the rooms and the common areas are run down and in need of serious repair. This building also failed fire safety and after the massive fires that just happened in HK this is not okay. This place needs to be shut down and demolished or completely renovated. Go across the street to Shama it is a much better stay

I knew it was going to be a low end place to but hoped it would be better than it was. Here are the best bits: - Friendly welcome and able to leave bags before room was ready - Room is HK hostel size 2.5m x 1.5m - Combined shower toilet - Small but comfortable bed. - Good ventilation (didn't check A/c) (all fine and as expected) The disappointments : - Disposable towel unsatisfactory and adding to landfill after use. - Hot water needs to be requested (not on as standard) - Rooms / stairs / common areas all run down and in need of repair. Nice collection of black mould in the washroom. Lifts slow and unpredictable.
