A shop which sells delicious foreign frozen fish and meat at reasonable price. Great local shop for over 40 years.

Local coercive and dishonest sales tactics. Finally went in recently after having walked past many times and wanted to check out what they had. Three older local men immediately tried to swamp me with expensive options (I speak Chinese). I said I just wanted to inquire how much an average or low-end steak would be before deciding. They wouldn't stop talking and bragging about how great the quality of their steaks was while taking out big chunks of frozen steaks and tried to start cutting, while I was still asking about the quality and price. I kept having to tell him not to start cutting in at least three separate occasions. Each time they'd try to say something else to distract me and go on to turn on the cutting machine. The whole thing happened within laterally one minute. The whole tactic was to try to start cutting the meat and forcing me to pay for whatever it was they wanted to charge (the chunks of meat they took out were not labeled). The final time I had to tell him sternly not to cut the meat. By that point I still wasn't told about the grade or the price. I began walking out of the shop. I've been coming here for years like a family tradition and can honestly state the service and quality of product are getting WORSE. The service has always been bad, echoing the streams of negative comments from other reviewers. The lady at the front is rude (let's not mince words). The other staff also make you feel stupid if my preferences deviate from how they would like to cut the beef. What has taken this store to a new low is that the quality of meat has noticeably deteriorated. For reference, I have spent $ thousands and thousands at this store over many years, purchasing ribeyes & sirloins, whole racks of short ribs, and pork chops. My last 3 racks of sirloin broke my jaw - unchewable, tough with gristle. My last 5 racks of beef short ribs were 80% fat - very little meat on the bones! When I tell the staff about the quality issues, they dump a bunch of racks on top of the freezer, tell me that's how it is, and ask me to choose one. The worst part is that I can see the quality is poor - excessive fat (no, it's not marbling). To the store's credit, cheap prices is why this isn't a 1-rating. I always see a huge line here so decided to check it out. A limited but decent menu list of meats on offer. Not fluent in the language, nor can read so asked the lady some questions and she almost stared at me with the look of death and forcibly pointed at the list when I pointed to some fish and asked what it was. Since I cannot read, I asked what it says and she mumbled some gibberish that I could not make sense of. I’m sure you’ve been around of many years and are proud of your business but in the end, customer service is still important (even though it rarely exists in HK). A BIG FAT THUMBS DOWN. Will not buy nor visit again. Good luck!

This shop is very good for the price, whole sale frozen meats. The best thing is they can cut to any size you what. I love my steak at 1.5 inch. The staff are very unfriendly and not polite so don't expect good service but after all we only buy the meat and go. The taste of the food is very good quality and it is even better than most outside restaurants. After finding this shop, I don't eat beef or lamb at outside restaurants anymore. I got a whole Fillet US, Ribeye US and Ribeye New Zealand for making a 32 days Dry-Ageing and wow, the best of the best.
