In Hong Kong a dispensary (藥房, an Authorized Seller of Poisons) must employ a registered pharmacist, some medicines can only be sold under the pharmacist's supervision, and it usually displays an "Rx" sign; a medicine company (藥行) may only sell less tightly controlled medicines. Prescription drugs need a doctor's prescription, and the pharmacist can explain dosage and side effects.

Google lists the opening hours as daily, 08:00–19:00. It is open seven days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2304 1504. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is facebook.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

It has a Google rating of 3.9 out of 5 from 8 reviews. Opinions are mixed but broadly steady, and the latest reviews are the best guide to what to expect.

Kwun Tong is part of the Kwun Tong District in Kowloon. Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating. Many Kwun Tong industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios; note the building name and floor, as access can differ in the evening and at weekends.
