The location is great, easy to find. Price is friendly to students or Gap year travellers like me. The front desk receptionist is warmhearted, she offered me a free bottle of icy water and lead me to the room. She patiently showed me around and Introduce the hot water shower, locker storage and wifi password. For each bed, there is a panel for lights control and a charging socket with a free 110V to 220v adapter. I felt the warmth of HK here.

It's rare to find such a cheap place to stay in HK that isn't infested with cockroaches, but sometimes you get lucky. Had a great stay here for a few days in HK in one of the dorms. It was a bit difficult to find and there are two different buildings but once I was settled in everything was fine. The kitchen area was a godsend as eating out in HK can be expensive. There not too much of a social vibe, but that being said you're in a great location to go out and enjoy HK, right in the middle of Causeway Bay and close to Victoria Park. *Stayed May 2025

I stayed here for 3 nights and definitely loved my stay. The place is a bit tricky to find. Their reception is at Hong Kong Mansion Hotel, but the hostel rooms are at Pearl City Mansion. The Pearl City Mansion building has two entrances (A, B, and C), so make sure you enter the correct one. I arrived at Hong Kong Mansion at 2 AM, and Sam was very kind to upgrade me to a double bed room for free since the people in the other building were already sleeping. It has everything! A shower, heater, lockers, clothes hangers, slippers, a washing machine where you can wash your clothes, and some coffee. The location is great too! It’s just beside a supermarket and very close to MTR Causeway Bay Station. The only con I can think of is that it’s not very social since they don’t have a common area like other hostels. It’s more like a private studio room with bunk beds, very clean and nice. But overall, it’s totally fine since it’s very cheap compared to other hostels. Thank you, Amy and Sam! I will definitely stay here again when I come back to HK.

Hostel was in a really good location and one of the only semi affordable accomodation options and hostels we could find when booking but it definitely comes with a compromise on quality. We booked what we thought was a 10 bed mixed door as listed on booking.com but the room we were in was definitely at least a 14 bed. The check in process was also really bizarre and the worst I’ve ever experienced. You are sent no initial instructions before arriving which would have made the process at least a little easier. So we ended up finding the first building using the address listed on booking.com- with this address you are sent to floor 17 on the building to a door that has a sign on it telling you to go down to floor 11 to check in! The check in room is then a strange desk in someone’s apartment to then be told the accommodation is actually in a different building a 5 mins walk away. The lady who checked us in was actually lovely and really sweet but the whole process was just so chaotic and added stress to our already stressful day. The showers also smell so so bad in the room to the point we were gagging and had to sleep with windows open and were constantly just dirty and covered in h

Interesting hostel. They have multiple rooms scattered throughout HK. I was given a room in a different building, but the building to check in was hard to find. The staff were very friendly though and gave me cold bottle of water and towel, but I was given a wooden board to sleep on. No mattress at all. When I checked in a staff member escorted me to a different building nearby and was quite helpful in telling me where to go, when I was was shown the bunk, it was only a blanket providing any softness. Bizarre. Other photos and even seeing the other rooms when I checked in, doesn’t look that bad so was probably just my bed. But why take the risk when I paid 300HKD when the street is the same and free
