Before enrolling, ask about the tutors' qualifications, class sizes, timetable and full fees, and about refunds and make-up classes; many tutoring centres and hobby classes offer a trial lesson. Sheung Wan is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Sheung Wan's Des Voeux Road West and Bonham Strand West are known for dried seafood, ginseng and herbal shops, which are busiest before Lunar New Year.
