About 洪慶海鮮燒臘飯店
洪慶海鮮燒臘飯店, a Cantonese and dim sum restaurant in Sham Shui Po, is at Unit G114, 10 Fat Tseung St, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted. The address puts it on an upper floor of a building (an "upstairs shop", very common in Hong Kong), so note the floor and unit number; lifts can be slow at busy times, and some older buildings only have stairs.
When choosing a restaurant, check whether the menu shows prices and the service charge, whether you need to book, and whether there are vegetarian or children's options. Restaurants must hold a licence from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, usually displayed inside. Lunar New Year, Mother's Day, Christmas and New Year's Eve are peak booking times, and some restaurants offer set menus or add a surcharge on festive days, so ask ahead. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.
Google shows it as open around the clock; any changes on public holidays or in severe weather are announced by the business itself. Phone: 2729 0039. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, facebook.com.
It has a Google rating of 3.5 out of 5 from 460 reviews. Opinions are mixed but broadly steady, and the latest reviews are the best guide to what to expect.
Sham Shui Po is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Sham Shui Po is known for the electronics and second-hand stalls of Apliu Street and the fabric and button shops around Ki Lung Street and Yu Chau Street, where many older shops still prefer cash.

Just Delicious with friendly staff

Moved to Lei Cheng Uk Estate on Sep 2019, a 5 mins walk nearby. Food is still very good and traditional local style dim sum/dishes. Usually fully occupied during dinner hours. Environment is much better than the previous location where they illegally put tables on the street.

A classic local eatery for real local. If you want to experience how grassroot people eat. You should come here. Please have a local guide or native speaking people come with you. Place are a bit tight and less clean. So dress accordingly. This place is open Thur the night so you can enjoy it anytime.

Service and food are considered good.

Food was not bad, only the sifu (with barely noticeable hair) chopping the barbecued meats had a very nasty attitude. He answered every request with rudeness. Maybe he should consider retirement and lead a relaxed life of vacation and cruises?
