In Hong Kong, dogs aged five months or more must be licensed, vaccinated against rabies and microchipped, which is handled by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. Grooming and pet boarding usually need booking, and boarding may require vaccination records; places fill up before festivals and long weekends, so plan ahead. Before buying a pet, consider its lifespan and needs, and whether your building allows pets.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 12:30โ21:30. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. You can call 2391 8085; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. More information is on its website, iloverabbit.com.
At 3.8 out of 5 on Google (207 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

I bought my first pet bunny from this shop, and it was such a wonderful experience! The staff truly love animalsโyou can tell they genuinely care about the rabbits. They were very patient in explaining everything about how to take care of my bunny and what it needs. Even after bringing the bunny home, their WhatsApp after-sales service was super helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a healthy and happy bunny!

The workers are letting people hold rabbits upside down when they are testing if the rabbit is compatible for them to buy. Holding a rabbit upside down induces a state fear-induced paralysis known as "trancing" that mimics playing dead to avoid predators. This position causes extreme stress, spikes heart rates, and can lead to severe panic or shock.

Horrible. The hamsters were kept in a very small place with little to no space to move around and not enough bedding to burrow. They are neglected. Unfortunately, this is the reality for many pet stores .

I came to have a look as Iโm looking and learning before getting a pet. The lady shop assistant was so kind and friendly, and instead of selling me stuff, she gave me very appropriate recommendations that were for the sake of the pets! Definitely will come back once I am ready to welcome the furry friends home.

Very please with our rabbit purchase process. The guy in the store knew a lot about rabbit care, and was very patient in helping us choose the necessities.
