Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

The best peanut butter and condensed milk waffles in Mong Kok. And I have lived in Mong Kok for over three years.

My all-time favorite street food stall whenever I return to Hong Kong. I first discovered this gem 16 years ago, and amazingly, nothing has changed since including the setup, the food quality, and the friendly faces behind the counter. Their egg waffle is an absolute must-try. It was crispy on the outside, soft and airy inside. Honestly, it’s one of the best I’ve had, even better than many of the big chain stores across Hong Kong. Also must try their curry fish balls and sausages. A true taste of nostalgia that never disappoints.

Very busy place. Packed with locals and tourists. The egg waffles are must try for tourists, especially the original taste (not adding other favours). Need to eat the waffles while they are hot, so that the outside remains crispy while the inside is soft. The auroma of butter and egg is irresistible. It is a little bit pricey but good experience of tasting one of the very traditional street snacks in Hong Kong with long history.

The beef offal is unbelievable, I have it every time I get here. None of the food stand in hk makes better than this.

It's one of a must try food when you are in Hong Kong. Eggy pancake! It's good to share since the portion is quite big, very milky and you can smell the butter! Enjoy :)
