Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

Small little burger spot, very simple setup, but the burger was actually really good. It’s a tiny place with just a counter and a small kitchen, so it feels more like a local neighborhood takeout spot than a restaurant. The burger itself was great — juicy, flavorful, and cooked well. Simple but done right. Definitely one of those places where the food speaks for itself. It looks like a family-run place, which I always like to see. The atmosphere is basic and there’s no fancy setup. I didn’t see a restroom, so I’m not sure about that, and because the kitchen is so small it’s hard to judge overall cleanliness. But the staff seemed friendly and everything moved quickly. I ordered takeout and it came out fast. If you’re looking for a quick, good burger without all the hype or high prices, this is a solid local spot.

Kabo is a local burger joint that has a few branches in Kowloon including this small spot along Kwong Wa Street in Mongkok. Only four window side seats so be ready for take-away or delivery orders from this branch. Opening hours are 11am to 10pm daily. Menu is a traditional range of burgers and sides. You can do affordable combos as well. I stopped by here recently and tried their Impossible Burger w/ fries and drink combo (HK$80) which is a really good deal for this part of the city. The impossible burger was grilled nicely, topping ingredients fresh, portion size what you expect. Small side of fries tasted just fine. Service is friendly and as timely as can be expected of a busy burger joint like Kabo.

Kano Burger: A Delicious Alternative to the Big Chains In a city dominated by international fast-food chains, Kano Burger stands out as a refreshing alternative to the likes of McDonald's. This local burger shop offers an impressive range of options to cater to diverse tastes, with beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, duck, and even vegetarian burgers on the menu. The beef burger options alone are staggering, with six choices to tantalize your taste buds: cheese burger, black truffle cheese burger, Grill brie cheese burger, beef and portobello cheese burger, cheese burger with mushroom bacon and chipotle ketchup, and beef burger with hushbrown. What's more, these mouth-watering options are available at an unbeatable value-for-money price, ranging from HKD 42 to 50-something. To customize your burger to your liking, Kano Burger offers a variety of extra toppings, including onion, cheese, mushroom, pineapple, and more. For a more filling meal, opt for a set meal that includes a side and drink, available for an additional HKD 18. But it's not just about the burgers - Kano Burger's snacks and sides are equally impressive. Choose from chicken wings, butter corn cup, fries, sweet potato frie
