Cafés, bakeries, dessert and drinks shops are often mainly takeaway with a few seats, and weekend afternoons are the busiest. Many accept Octopus, credit cards and e-wallets, and some run loyalty schemes or pre-orders; birthday cakes and festive boxes (mooncakes at Mid-Autumn, for example) usually need ordering in advance, a few days ahead on popular dates. Dessert shops are liveliest in the evening and some stay open late; ask for insulated packing for frozen takeaways.

Google lists the opening hours as daily, 12:00–01:00. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2384 3862. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, app.eats365pos.com.

At 4.2 out of 5 on Google (5,948 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.

Jordan is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Hong Kong summers are hot and humid, and typhoons and rainstorms come mostly in summer and autumn; when the Observatory issues signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning, many businesses close until it is lifted.

Really enjoyed Kai Kai Dessert!!!!!!! WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. The black sesame paste was definitely our favourite, rich and fragrant, but what stood out was the texture. It wasn’t overly thick or viscous like the ones we usually get in Singapore, so it felt much lighter and smoother while still having that strong black sesame flavour. So interesting. Super comforting and not too sweet either. Would definitely come back again!!!!!!!!!

It’s one of my fav spots in hkg after dinner ! The black sesame flavor is my favorite especially with the sesame mochi balls. It’s the delicious sesame inside of the mochi and it tastes so good !! Order & payment can be done by QR and it’s very convenient and quick. The store is clean and good hygienic. I’ll definitely go back again !

I came here to take away the taro dessert, and the dessert itself was delicious. The flavour was great, and I really enjoyed it. However, I was disappointed with the service experience. I queued outside the shop for a takeaway order, but the cashier noticed that I was waiting and did not attend to me. Instead, a lady who was not queuing walked by the shop, and the cashier took her order first. I understand that the shop may have regular local customers, but as a tourist, I also came here to support the business and was ready to pay for my order. I hope the staff can pay more attention to the queue system and serve customers based on the order they arrived. The dessert was good, but the service experience could definitely be improved. I will give 1 star cause of services. At the end, services is important for me.

a fantastic local dessert spot that was recommended by Michelin until 2019 and has received a Bib Gourmand every single year since. they definitely deserve all of them and more. we stuck with the traditional options and tried the black sesame pudding and the rice dumpling pudding in sweet ginger soup. you can choose to have most of their desserts hot or cold. we went with cold for the black sesame pudding, and it leaves a lovely, subtle tahini-like aftertaste. we tried the ginger one hot, and the way the ginger aroma blends with the rice dumpling and its filling was absolutely amazing. you can order your desert at a digital menu so you can pay with credit card.

I ordered the black sesame paste × mung bean soup, and I was completely satisfied! The soup was light and sweet with a wonderful sesame flavor, and the combination was just delicious. I got there around 8:30, and it took about 10 minutes to find a seat, which was perfectly okay with me.
