Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Your exploration of this vibrant metropolis is incomplete without crossing Victoria Harbour by boat from the iconic Tsim Sha Tsui docks. It serves as a highly economical and scenic alternative to underground trains, allowing you to wind down while soaking in the urban landscape. For just a pocket-change fee, it treats passengers to an unobstructed, panoramic view of the world-famous architectural skyline. The vistas during twilight and after dark are genuinely spectacular, turning the harbor into a glowing canvas of lights. Navigating the terminal is seamless and tech-friendly, as you can simply swipe a contactless payment card or smartphone wallet to board without delay. If you want to bypass the heavy weekend crowds and snap the best photos, catching an early morning sailing on a weekday is your best bet. Alongside the double-decker "Ding Ding" trams and the historic Peak Tram, this classic nautical transit remains the beating heart of local heritage that no traveler should overlook.

Very easy access to other side of the bay, just 10min in good weather and decent price. Possibility to buy something before boarding. Connection to many bus lines and metro line Tsim Sha Tsui. Very convenient interval for ferry

If you are a tourist, a ferry trip from Tsim Sha Tsui to Hong Kong Island is a must-do event since you haven’t visited Hong Kong without making this ferry trip. The ferry ride is very affordable so no reason to skip. Other must visit attractions are the ding ding aka tram and cable train to the peak.

Best way to cross between Hong Kong and Kowloon for 5HKD. The night trip is especially nice with great harbor cityscape views. Morning rides are less busy. You can tap your credit card or digital wallet and don’t need to buy advance tickets.

Loved the ferry. used it a few times. Dead cheap, about .62 cents (Euros) - 5HK dollars. Get great views of the city and its a nice and relaxing ferry ride across - more enjoyable than the metro I'd imagine. Can get very busy (with Chinese tourists) on the weekends, but on week days not so much
