They have some amazing house stuff; really lovely pieces, but it is so overpriced. This is not just true of this store, but generally of the chain.

I visited the Salvation Army Family Store (Tin Hau branch) and my overall experience was mixed. On the plus side, the shop is spacious and there’s a better selection of male clothing than what I usually come across at other branches. It was also comfortable to browse. However, I was a little disappointed with the condition of some items. Compared to other branches I’ve visited, a number of pieces felt more worn out, and I even noticed mould and stains on a few items. I also noticed that during working hours, a few staff were chatting quite loudly about their private matters, and it made the service feel less attentive. One thing I’m not fully sure about is pricing. Based on my experience, the prices here seem a bit marked up compared with their shops in Kowloon district. Overall, I hope they can improve item quality and staff attentiveness, because with the store’s space and clothing selection potential, it could be a much better branch.

Very good and useful store. The family store earlier was up the road, but the place was small now they have moved into this new premises where all their wares are nicely displayed. Often, you find very good bargains. Today, my wife found a beautiful sweater. Great place to donate your pre-loved clothes and books. Definitely recommended for a visit.

Actually, there are 2 great points here, there is an array of goods not going to the landfill and The Salvation Army does great work! Always something lovely to buy and upcycle
