Many Hong Kong restaurants add a 10% service charge to the bill, and tipping beyond that is optional. Popular places fill up at lunchtime and on weekend evenings, so book by phone, WhatsApp or a platform such as OpenRice; some set a time limit or a minimum spend. Most offer both dine-in and takeaway, and Octopus, credit cards, FPS and PayMe are widely accepted, though smaller places may take cash only. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 09:00–22:00. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2510 0318. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first.

Tin Hau is part of the Eastern District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays.

The roast meats were of standard quality, nothing particularly outstanding. The afternoon roast meat and tea set meal with a chilled drink cost HKD38, which was cheap, but unfortunately only noodles or rice noodles were available; rice wasn't an option. The staff's service was also just average.

I visited this “siu mei” (roasted & BBQ pork) restaurant during lunch hour, no wait is required. The restaurant itself is not big, probably can fit 30 customers at maximum. When I finished (around 1pm) it started getting busy. I ordered a Cha siu & chicken rice together with a HK style milk tea. Amazing food quality, the roasted pork is tender and juice, definitely one of the best in town. Overall even though the shop is small, it has a high level of hygieneness. On a side note, the shop has renovated a bit since the last time I visited. Highly recommended.

Maybe we came at the wrong time, when the shop just opened and shouldnt order with two meats, hence the roasted goose was of smaller portion and didnt taste good at all. Looks disappointing as well.. Not sure which social media intro this place but definately not coming back again...sigh..

Good food! We were really craving an assortment of meats and it really delivered on our cravings. Meat tasted good, service was fast and attentive (we were super early, so that might have played role in that). The restaurant however did smell of bleach, when we went in to sit down and eat.

A small independent Cantonese BBQ restaurant who claimed they have own roasting facilities. Tried their combo with roasted goose, pork belly, soya chicken, of which roasted pork & chicken were good. Meats were quite fresh, properly seasoned & with right texture. Most of customers ordered honey glazed roasted pork & steamed chicken, of which were seemingly their signature dishes. Went again & ordered soy chicken & roasted pork but both were not as tender as before. A bit disappointed. However, quite cheap.
