The fish siu mai ($10/8) steamed in a proper steamer are truly exceptional! The key is to eat them fresh and piping hot on the spot. That soft, glutinous texture is just perfect. The balance of soy sauce and chili oil is spot on—the chili oil brings that kind of heat that makes your scalp tingle and a light sweat break out, but it doesn’t linger harshly on your tongue or throat. It’s the kind of spice that feels just right. Best of all, you don’t get that heavy, floury feeling afterward. Every time I pass through Kwun Tong, this is a must-eat stop

They are famous for their siu mai (fish // pork), and the incessant (fast) queue is a witness to how popular it is. This isn’t one of those overhyped places at all, HKD 10 for 8 excellent quality siu mai 😋- what more can you ask for in this day and age!? Highly recommend! Kwun Tong is a great place for siu mai lovers ♥️

Came here because of a friend’s recommendation. It is definitely a neighborhood hot spot. The fish siu mai is pretty good, but the beef ball felt a little too dense. Rice roll was good but make sure you ask for the sauces. I would stop by if you are in the area, not necessary to make a special trip over.

I finally tried the fish Siu Mai and pork Siu Mai from a place that many netizens have voted as one of the best in HK. The fish Siu Mai was a bit too starchy for my taste, but the pork one was fine. At 8 pieces for 10 dollars, it's a pretty good deal overall.

Known as the best Shumai by the Facebook group. The fish Shumai was indeed delicious. I could taste the fish flavour in them rather than just a lump of flour. The taste reminded me of what fish shumai tasted like from childhood.
