expensive SFC preparation course with outdated materials (yes, even now it's approaching 2026 they still have the audacity to provide the video dated back 2023!) that are too lazy to update. That's totally unacceptable as exam shall change every year. Wonder if it would work but definitely not worth the money of 6.5k for the outdated package...The sound quality and instruction is not fluent and is very poor quality....even youtube has better quality than this...highly not recommend. There are tons of annoying watermarks on each page of the material and even on the video online, which block the proper reading of the material and viewing of the material, which is assumed to be my property after purchase. Very bad experience. I wonder whoever have taken this course would bother re-selling the videos or lecture notes that are sooooooo outdated.... To candidates of whatever exams, you are just paying premium for outdated materials, please look elsewhere.

Good location. Kaplan offers a wide variety of programmes. If you are not living in Hong Kong but want to take IELTS exam here, I would suggest you to stay at hotels around Wan Chai or Causeway Bay area (but avoid smelly and noisy hostels nearby run by scammers).

Seriously if you are taking your IELTS exam there, don’t bother! They ask you to report as early as 8am and you will find yourself queuing in the heat for 30 minutes, if not more, then queuing for another 30 minutes inside to have things sorted out. They simply don’t have the capacity to hold exams like IELTS. Choose a bigger centre!

Very affordable education with good facilities. The programs give you what you take from them, meaning you have to study. I had some outstanding teachers and some mediocre lecturers but they were not the normal. It’s a solid institution and provides everything one needs to succeed in their studies. I also want to compliment my program managers who were always on top of the situation and made sure we could continue our studies, even after Covid. My advice to anyone who is looking at potentially taking up a course here I recommend them to be honest with themselves and commit to a full learning experience. You can take the easy route but if you truly want to benefit from the program here you have to work it out yourself and be persistent. Have a reason to study here and you will be successful and create real value for yourself. Thank you for the 2 years!
