About 康怡物理治療(灣仔)

康怡物理治療(灣仔) is a physiotherapy centre in Wan Chai, at 灣仔菲林明道7號好發商業大廈8樓. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it. The address puts it on an upper floor, so note the floor and unit number; some buildings ask visitors to register at the lobby, and lifts can be slow at busy times.

Public general out-patient clinics can be booked through the Hospital Authority's HA Go app, while private clinics take bookings by phone or in person. Many clinics close or shorten their hours on Sundays and public holidays, and early evenings are busy; for emergencies go to an A&E department or call 999. This page is for reference only and is not medical advice. Physiotherapists must be registered with the Physiotherapists Board, and some insurance plans require a doctor's referral first.

Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Fri 09:00–13:00 and 15:00–19:00, Sat 09:00–16:00, Sun closed. It is open 6 days a week. There is a midday break, so the day is split into two sessions. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2572 2229. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, hongs.org.

Customers give it an average of 5.0 out of 5 on Google (95 reviews), a high score by any measure.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays.

Suffered from piriformis sciatica. The pain was excruciating and beyond imagination. I could barely walk and I could barely stand for lengthy period. Thought the pain would be with me for life. and with a strong sense of hopelessness. Started chiropractic treatment and it didn't completely ease the pain. Then, recommended to try Physio Leo Chan. After roughly 10 to 15 consultants and treatments, he fixed it. The pain has now mostly gone. Physio Leo Chan was able to identify the root cause & the origins of the pain location and just focused on that for intensive treatment. To describe him as a 'magician' might not be an overstatement but he is really that damn good!

Excellent experience — the doctor was very professional and kind, and the nurses were incredibly friendly and caring throughout the treatment. The clinic is clean, efficient, and made the whole process very comfortable. Also super convenient location right in front of Wan Chai Station.

What began as a painful limitation slowly transformed into a path of healing, strength, and rediscovery. Through consistent sessions and the expert care of my physiotherapist, I experienced not only physical improvement but a renewed sense of confidence in my body’s resilience. My physiotherapist’s insights and encouragement made every session feel purposeful. They didn’t just treat a joint—they treated me as a whole person, with goals, setbacks, and hopes. Highly recommended physiotherapy

A long time ago, I experienced persistent pain in my lower back due to work-related issues. I sought help from various doctors, Chinese medicine practitioners, bone specialists, and physical therapists for nearly nine months, but none could resolve my pain. This had a significant impact on Psychological quality and work. By chance, I discovered a clinic where Leo, the physical therapist, helped me resolve my issues. Since then, for any injuries or strain-related problems, I have consistently sought his treatment. Time has flown, and it has already been 23 years. I have complete trust in Dr. Chan's methods. Whenever I have any issues, I make sure to rush over to him for help. I also schedule regular check-ups, as my profession often leads to various strains. I am very satisfied with Dr. Chan’s treatment techniques, and nurses are attentive and considerate. The clinic's location is also very convenient! I strongly recommend!

I first picked this place simply because it was close to my office; but ever since I started treatment at this center, I have been pleased with their service. Leo is nice, professional and practical. What I liked the most is that I could ask any questions in regards to my injury and he was very generous in sharing his knowledge to teach me what I could do on my own to improve my situation. Unlike other physical therapy centers, this place is very affordable and it is easy to get an appointment. I have already recommended this place to my family and colleagues who shared the same opinion of their service. It is worth giving it a try.
