About Kido

Quite authentic Japanese Yakitori over hot coals. Great selection of seasonal sake with varied grilled bites. Recommend coming here if you crave an Izakaya closest to Japanese

Had midnight dinner here. Sukiyaki is a must. As well as the other dishes i took a photo of. No complaints regarding food taste. All were delicious. The owner is kind as well as the staff.

Whenever I miss yakitori, Kido is definitely one of the few that spring to my mind. While many highlight the signature chicken skewers from Kido, I actually highly recommend another outstanding dish - the charcoal-grilled Live Satsuma Eel. I am a big fan of eel. I love the way it is executed: traditional binchotan charcoal is used to achieve a distinctive smoky aroma, tender meat with fine bones and crispy, fragrant skin. It is definitely worth it. If you are also a big fan of eel, this is definitely something you cannot miss. It is unarguably another level. Enjoy 😋

Yakitori • Sumibiyaki Kido is a solid choice for those who enjoy traditional Japanese charcoal-grilled dishes. The restaurant offers a warm, authentic Japanese atmosphere, making it suitable for casual dinners with friends or family. Food Quality The charcoal-grilled yakitori has a nice smoky aroma, and the meat is well cooked while remaining juicy. The flavors are well balanced and not overly seasoned, making the dishes easy to enjoy for both adults and kids. 🍽 Menu Highlights • Charcoal-grilled chicken skewers • Grilled beef • Grilled vegetables These classic Japanese dishes are simple, flavorful, and satisfying. Ambience & Service The restaurant features a cozy Japanese-style setting with counter and table seating. Staff are polite and attentive, though food service may be a bit slow during peak hours. Price Reasonable for the quality of ingredients, cooking style, and overall dining

Great izakaya style Japanese restaurant that serves high quality small dishes. The price point I would say is mid-high, but the cozy atmosphere and the variety of items on the menu are well worth it. They also specialize in skewers; I must commend the chicken wing that was grilled to perfection. However, the fried mochi dessert was disappointing.
