Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

Chanced upon this unassuming place whilst shopping at Mongkok. Ordered 2 of their lunch sets & ala carte pasta & tuna tartare. The pork rack is super worth it, imo & their soup of the day tasted magnificent. Tuna tartare came in cones, which was super cute & it tasted fresh as well. Pasta is flavorful & it does get pretty intense after awhile so I feel like itโll be a good sharing plate instead of a main.

Second time to MOKO, Lab Eat was a place we had in mind to try. Their set menu was not bad for value, I love it when they ask you steak temperature and it comes out as instructed. Most places overcook your steak and you end up with a piece of chewy cardboard on your plate. The salad was quite ordinary and nothing to write home about but the main star more than made up for it. Steak was juicy and done correctly. Generous portion for lunch.

I searched for western foodin Mongkok and they looked hot on internet open rice app. The food 4 of us we ordered were not too few, but quality wise so so, price wise over if compare with size and quality. Atmosphere great for people under 25 with MK taste preferences. I'm too old and I expected much more decorations than just cheapest fireworks for celebrating birthday.

LAB EAT Restaurant & Bar in Mong Kok is a hidden gem and perfect for celebrating birthdays or any special event! They even handle the decorations, making the vibe super cool. Every dish looks like art, so youโll be snapping pics before eating. The food is incredible: fresh Australian abalone, Hokkaido scallop sashimi, crispy tuna tartare cones, and their famous black truffle butter chicken (pre-order this one). The U.S. Angus ribeye is super tender, and the Sicilian seafood pasta is full of flavor. For dessert, try the matcha white chocolate mousse and Earl Grey tropical crispโboth house-made and beautifully served. Cocktails like Queen come with a fun smoke effect and are super refreshing. Great food, awesome vibes, and tons of photo opsโLAB EAT is the place to be!
