Many Hong Kong restaurants add a 10% service charge to the bill, and tipping beyond that is optional. Popular places fill up at lunchtime and on weekend evenings, so book by phone, WhatsApp or a platform such as OpenRice; some set a time limit or a minimum spend. Most offer both dine-in and takeaway, and Octopus, credit cards, FPS and PayMe are widely accepted, though smaller places may take cash only. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 09:00–20:00. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. You can call 2474 9188; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there.

Sham Shui Po is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Sham Shui Po is known for the electronics and second-hand stalls of Apliu Street and the fabric and button shops around Ki Lung Street and Yu Chau Street, where many older shops still prefer cash.

The food quality is justifiable considering the budget friendly price tag. The food night be mediocre but surely it will fill up your belly. If you look for good quality roasted pork (char siu), check out some restaurants in Central district.

This restaurant is good for take aways for the dine in space is too small and narrow, even the floor is too greasy and post a risk to fall. The food tastes good and the prices are inexpensive. Many are buying for to-go.

I had my hkd$25 chasiu pork to go. But the lady who served me was very generous with the sauce and the portion. I went there with a local food tour guide, the server and the tour guide were like old friends, friendly banter. The chasiu pork lasted me for 2 days. Still as delicious as the day I bought it. Cash only. And from what I see, they do not speak English well. So, having a local was very helpful.

Extremely inexpensive takeaway rice with roasted meats. No gourment but very respectable food to fill your stomach on a shoestring budget. When queuing, please give way to elderlies and needies first.
