利嘉閣 - 蔚然分行, an estate agent in Central, Central and Western, is at 堅道71號HK 香港島 半山 香港堅道71號地下及地庫 GLG/F. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted.

Property deals involve large sums: before signing a provisional sale and purchase agreement, do a Land Registry search to check ownership and mortgages, and budget for stamp duty, solicitor's fees and agent's commission. Renting usually means a deposit plus rent in advance, and the tenancy should be in writing and say who handles repairs; for new developments, the Sales of First-hand Residential Properties Authority publishes useful information. When viewing flats, you can ask the agent to show their licence card, and read every document before signing.

Google lists the opening hours as daily, 09:00–22:00. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2857 7383. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is ricacorp.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

It shows 3.7 out of 5 on Google, but from only 3 reviews, so treat it as a first impression rather than a verdict.

Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.
