Book lovers paradise and full of English books. Will find many gems if you peruse with patience. Many books are hidden behind other books. Very charming little second hand book store

The owner is super lovely and welcoming! She has become one of main reasons we visit the bookshop so regularly. While the store is small, it’s got a BIG personality. My family and I are regular customers and we buy books ranging from architectural design to modern sci-fi for reasonable prices.

Lily’s Books is one of those “teetering stacks” kinds of used bookstores, that never seems to have the shelf space to accommodate its acquisitions. This is part is its charm, as are the endless yellowing pages and the polite staff. You’ll need to negotiate with other browsers as you squeeze in and around, but there are plenty of great titles looking for a good home. Note: not everything will have a price posted, so just go up front and ask.

love the selection! i can't believe i found Shuggie Bain there for only 55HKD when it is usually around 140HKD. i also saw Age of Vice, some Kiley Reid novels, and even Elena Ferrante. it's a small and unassuming place but it's well worth the visit. you just have to look closely to really find the gems. and don't be afraid to lift some books and peek behind shelves because i found Shuggie Bain at the bottom of a huge pile on the floor!

It is a very interesting second hand bookstore. Despite there are no specific organization, you can find the general genres to look for what you want. I bought cards against humanity with 88HKD. Worth it. Yes, I was looking for old card and board games. I could have bargained monopoly with 78 HKD. I would definitely go there again to dig up some treasures. It is worth visiting. I recommend you take at least 30 minutes in the shop to look for what you want.
