Under the Education Ordinance, tutoring centres above a certain size must register with the Education Bureau as schools, and registered centres usually display their certificate. Before enrolling, ask about the tutors' qualifications, class sizes, timetable and full fees, and about refunds and make-up classes; many tutoring centres and hobby classes offer a trial lesson. Treat promises of guaranteed passes or school places with care, and get any terms in writing.

Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Fri 12:30–21:30, Sat 09:00–18:00, Sun 09:30–12:00 and 14:00–18:00. It is open seven days a week. Note the break in the middle of the day: it opens in two sessions. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2278 4166. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, logic.edu.hk.

At 3.7 out of 5 on Google (37 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.

Sau Mau Ping is part of the Kwun Tong District in Kowloon. Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating. Hong Kong addresses give the street and number, the building name, then the floor and unit; "G/F" means the ground floor, and as big buildings can have several entrances, look for the directory board in the lobby.
