Dear Sir / Madam, I am writing to file a complaint for your arrangement of the EV charging facilities at Rumsey Street Carpark. There are a total of 110 EV charging spaces as stated in your official website. As per the announcement you made in the website, 75 numbers of EV charging facilities will be affected due to different National Games. With this, I am understanding that there will be 35 charging spaces left at your 1/F of the carpark. After communication with your staff at the Rumsey Street Carpark, I only realized that 17 charging spaces are specially arranged for the VIPs. No matter if they are parking EV or non EV cars. That means, the remaining charging spaces are 18 for our public. I have not seen any notice published at your website nor the counter at the G/F. Here comes my main point of the complaint. These 18 charging spaces have no visible notice to advise the cars' owners not to park there if they are not using any charging facilities nor like the 17 parking spaces located for VIPs, which have the notices stating that "Electric Vehicle Reserved", "Unauthorized Parking Penalty $320". Hard to find and directional signage is poor. Follow the signs to Shun Tak Centre (Macau Ferry) and drive through the building. Ignore the car parking sign and follow the exit route. At the traffic lights, turn sharp left and the car park will be ahead. This is the only entrance. An old fashioned Hong Kong multistorey car park with hundreds of spaces. Payment is Octopus or credit card. Great views of the harbour and ferry terminal plus easy pedestrian access to Central and Sheung Wan via a covered walkway.

This is a great place to park when in the Sheung Wan area. If you've got time for a 5 to 10 minute walk it's also connected by walking bridge to IFC Mall and the IFC office buildings and HK Station. It has 8 floors of parking and also charging stations for electric cars. There also are dedicated lots for motorbikes. Price wise it is the cheapest in the area I am aware of. It is uncommon for there to be a long queue for access or no parking available, so it is a pretty sure bet for parking. The only downside to this parking lot is that the spaces are tight so if you've got a long and/or broad car it's a tight squeeze.

One of the most popular public multi-storey parking spot in Central. It is not easy to find the entrance, you have to go through Shun Tak Centre to find it. The car park is full most of the time and you may need to go up many floors to find a space. Parking spaces are narrow as it follows standards many many years ago.
