Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

Came here today from 12.30pm for sprained ankle. Got queue number at 1pm, till 11pm no single queue number get the call nor being treated, ankle wasn't swollen when I came then the waiting long hours makes swollen. The ppls even came earliest 11am, 12noon, didn't get the call. What kind of waiting is this, 11 hours? What kind of hospital is this? Treating focus only on urgent patients? I suggest do not go to this hospital!!

Paid fee for registration HK$400 and hopeless for waiting time. then you will give up. I went there for non-urgent case for sick leave certificate (for work) and medicines, yesterday (Sunday) the only medical center open on that day. From 5.30pm registered as a patient with temperature 38°c | running nose and cough until 11.30pm noting happened to me, queue before me was 3 queues but seem they call every 4 hours... please avoid if you are non-urgent case and go somewhere else.. I lost $400 for nothing

Appalling experience at A&E on Sunday, July 5. I was assigned to Dr. Stephanie Yu (Yu, Stephanie Dorothy Pui Ming), her tone was cold and hostile. She had an intense, erratic expression that felt completely unsafe and terrifying. In my entire lifetime, I have never encountered a medical professional so utterly devoid of humanity. When I asked her to explain my CT scan results, she looked at me with pure contempt and openly laughed at my request. Completely unprofessional, confrontational, and lacking basic empathy for a traumatised patient. Her shocking lack of emotional intelligence is deeply concerning for a frontline medical professional. A formal complaint has been filed with the Hospital Authority Patient Relations Office.

| 1st visit, treatment & experience | The medical services and facilities at Ruttonjee hospital are well-known, but the A&E department leaves much to be desired. The exhaustion and excessive waiting time were the most significant issue. Upon arriving at the A&E department, had a coupon number and hoped to be seen within a reasonable timeframe. However, had to wait for over seven and half hours before getting any medical attention. After examining the scenario, I may be incorrect, but I think that the absence of an efficient system to manage patient flow and emergency patients led to prolonged waiting. Patients could easily and conveniently know when it's their turn if the hospital arranges a digital display screen that displays waiting numbers. 🧑⚕️The doctor conducts an extremely brief consultation (hardly a minute) with the patient to discuss and understand the patient's health issues. The doctor in room number 7's terribly rude behavior and poor attitude towards patients made the experience very disappointing. Exiting from the A&E entrance, turn right and walk for almost 50 meters to reach the pharmacy. LG3 is associated with the main exit gate. One floor down from the A&

It is a very busy hospital. It locates in a very busy area. I got off the tram and walked pass the market, there the hospital. Along the way there are signs. It is a community hospital and it gives different area of services. The staffs at the ground level are very helpful. They gave clear directions and the floor I need to go. The main floor was the day clinic where it was very busy. Patients need to get a number and wait for the call. Although it was busy, it did go smooth. The hospital locates in a very convenient location. I had a good experience there with seeing the nurse and the doctor. The only thing I was quite confused was the floor, there was G LG1 LG2 LG3. LG3 is the exit also the mortuary.
