Mammy Pancake in Hong Kong is a must-try if you're looking for a local dessert experience. I ordered the original flavour, and it was worth trying. I visited after dinner around 9:00 PM, but there was a high volume of orders during peak hours, so I had to wait about 20 minutes before getting my pancake. The pancake had a noticeable egg aroma, which might be stronger compared to regular waffles, but the overall taste was good. It was crispy on the outside and enjoyable to eat. If you're visiting Hong Kong and looking for a popular street snack, Mammy Pancake is definitely worth a try.

This is the best bubble wrap i have tried. extra crunchy and yet soft on the inside. My son also tried the choco chip version though 11hkd is added for that one. Also pretty good

Mammy Pancake in Causeway Bay is one of those spots you see everywhere in Hong Kong. It’s popular, affordable, and always has a bit of a crowd around it, especially at night. Everything is made fresh to order, which I do appreciate. You can see them cooking it on the spot, and that’s always a good sign. That said, be prepared to wait. The queue can move slowly in the evening, and the wait felt longer than it probably should have been for a simple waffle. Price-wise, it’s very affordable, so no complaints there. It’s street snack pricing, not trying to be anything fancy. I ordered the original waffle, just the plain version. It was decent, but honestly, pretty plain tasting. Nothing wrong with it, just nothing particularly memorable either. Texture was fine, slightly crisp outside, soft inside, but flavour-wise it didn’t wow me. I’ve had better egg waffles elsewhere in Hong Kong. Service wasn’t great, nor was it friendly. Not outright rude, but definitely not warm. It felt transactional. Order, pay, wait, collect. That’s it. Overall, Mammy Pancake is fine if you’re nearby and craving a quick waffle fix. Freshly made and affordable, but taste-wise it’s decent rather than outstan

Crispy and yet soft egg waffle with just the right amount of fillings. Enjoyed it fresh and hot from the pan and it was very yummy. The staff is very nice and accommodating although there were tons of customers they managed the orders pretty quickly and efficiently.

Very busy given the area, but the wait time was not too bad. There is a TV screen that projects the completed order number in a large font, so you can wait to the side. I tried the Earl Grey Chocolate Chip Egg Waffle (HKD $36). I was not expecting the outside to be so hard, but the inside was soft, and the flavors were true to the description (but a little muted).
