About 麥當勞

Classic, long-running fast-food chain known for its burgers, fries & shakes.

麥當勞 is a burger and fast-food restaurant in Sham Shui Po, at 九龍深水埗 Yen Chow St, 78-86號地下及一樓. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it. This is an upstairs shop: the way in is usually through the building lobby rather than from the street, so check the building name, floor and unit before you go and allow a few minutes for the lift.

Noodle and congee shops, siu mei counters, fast-food places and snack shops are built for speed: most take no bookings, and at busy times you may queue or share a table. Siu mei and cart noodles are easy to take away, and some shops price by portion or by topping, so read the price list before ordering. Payment varies; Octopus is common, but some take cash only. Fast-food restaurants often have self-order kiosks and apps, which save queuing at busy times.

Google shows it as open around the clock; any changes on public holidays or in severe weather are announced by the business itself. Phone: 2728 4222. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, mcdonalds.com.hk.

At 3.6 out of 5 on Google (2,067 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.

Sham Shui Po is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Sham Shui Po is known for the electronics and second-hand stalls of Apliu Street and the fabric and button shops around Ki Lung Street and Yu Chau Street, where many older shops still prefer cash.

A McDonald's with many seat across 2 levels. Toilets are upstairs and free WiFi is available here. Use the McDonald's app to get good discount such as the coconut latte for 9.90 HKD.

Total scam. This place has a 'tourist tax' policy that is as blatant as it is pathetic. I pointed directly at the $8 soft serve; the server acknowledged it, then deliberately rang me up for the $17 option while handing me the cheap one. It’s not about the money—it’s the sheer dishonesty of the staff. They see a non-local and immediately try to pull a fast one. Save your cash and go somewhere that actually has some integrity. She did however teach me a cheap lesson. These people will take advantage of you out here when they can.

Bad experience. Staff refused to spare some milk for my Americano due to his professional training, said I can pay 4$ for some milk for my coffee if I insist, I can always write review about (him) or the issue. Omg, what a great training Macdonald HK provide. Can imagine if this guy turn into a trainer in the near future, and what Macdonald HK staffs will be like. This kind of attitude will never work in any where ,any place. A recharge coffee will turn into sour. And negative energy..... during the course of the day. Below is search from Google (No, americano coffee doesn't always have to be dark,) as the flavor is highly customizable based on bean choice, roast, and water-to-espresso ratio, but it's typically a black coffee with no milk, often described as bold or strong, and is served hot or iced. While Americanos traditionally use medium-dark to dark roasts for richness, light roasts are also used for different flavor profiles, notes Bones Coffee Company. Guess , cutomerize my coffee is more important than Macdonald HK training. ..

There's stairs in this one. Not every friendly to elderly or people in wheelchairs. Seats are weirdly arranged and there's an Standard Chartered ATM in the middle for some reason? Very crowded but at least it's very near to MTR and and the golden computer arcade centre. Thr stairs are the main problem
