About 麥當勞(旺角道店)
麥當勞(旺角道店), a burger and fast-food restaurant in Mong Kok, Yau Tsim Mong, is at 九龍Kowloon旺角旺角道30-36號,通菜街124A及124B號,寶安大廈一樓全層及地下F舖. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted. The address puts it on an upper floor of a building (an "upstairs shop", very common in Hong Kong), so note the floor and unit number; lifts can be slow at busy times, and some older buildings only have stairs.
Noodle and congee shops, siu mei counters, fast-food places and snack shops are built for speed: most take no bookings, and at busy times you may queue or share a table. Siu mei and cart noodles are easy to take away, and some shops price by portion or by topping, so read the price list before ordering. Payment varies; Octopus is common, but some take cash only. Fast-food restaurants often have self-order kiosks and apps, which save queuing at busy times.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 06:00–24:00. It is open seven days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. You can call 2393 4246; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. More information is on its website, mcdonalds.com.hk.
It has a Google rating of 3.5 out of 5 from 1,179 reviews. Opinions are mixed but broadly steady, and the latest reviews are the best guide to what to expect.

Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere.

Ordered two drinks as well as my sisters food/drinks, my first drink came on their tray whilst my second drink hadn’t arrived yet. A rude server came over and started shouting at us because we didn’t understand her (we aren’t fluent). When she was pointing at us, she dropped my second drink and she acted as if we had dropped it instead. She went back to redo my drink and came back with a worker who asked me if we’d ordered any mango frappes (in cantonese), in which I nodded my head and said yes. We received my second drink but the original worker verbally harassed us complaining about how we “ignored” her and gave us severe attitude. We actually handed the woman our receipt, which was in Chinese so she could read and understand that we actually did order the frappe yet she didn’t bother reading and just lashed out at us.

I ordered 2 sets of burgers with drinks for takeout and when I arrived home, there were no burgers. I had to come back in the heavy rain (they didn’t pick my call) and asked the staff in the kitchen counter. Turned out my burgers were left cold at the corner of cooking tables. I asked for compensation but the staff refused. Im not being petty here, but better avoid this shop.

This McDonald's outlet in the bustling Mong Kok district offers the familiar fast-food experience with the vibrant energy of Hong Kong's busiest shopping area. The menu includes both international staples and local favorites like the McSpicy chicken burger and crispy fried chicken wings. While the food maintains standard McDonald's quality, the real standout is the staff's efficiency in handling the constant crowds. The seating is predictably tight, with tables turning over quickly to accommodate the steady stream of customers. Cleanliness remains decent despite the heavy foot traffic. It's not a dining destination, but rather a practical spot for a quick, affordable meal between shopping or when craving something reliably consistent. The location makes it particularly convenient for tourists exploring the area or locals needing a fast bite.

Very bad service ! Our orders did not arrive for 20 minutes, even though it was not crowded. None of the screens where we can track orders are working.I don’t want to come here !!!!
